Carne Asada

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Flank or Skirt Steak
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 2 tablespoons roughly chopped cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce or Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried crushed Mexican oregano
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix
  2. Rub on steak
  3. Cook meat to a rare to medium rare finish

Notes

Serve as an entree or sliced with fajitas or tacos.
